Certificate IV in Project Management Practice is a competency-based award at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level IV. Competencies at the Certificate IV level describe the functions of a project team member who usually works with other team members under the direction of a project manager.

Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They may plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
Diploma of Project Management is a competency-based award at Australia Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 5. Competencies at the Diploma level describe the functions of a project manager who manages the work of project team members.
